Unit 2 ●
This unit focuses on additive facts for numbers from 5-10 (Ready to Progress 1NF–1 fluently add and subtract within 10). To really secure fluency in maths facts, such as adding and subtracting within 10, children need to do so without counting forwards or backwards in ones on their fingers, on a number line or in their heads. Children need to be able to automatically recall the facts.
Unit 3 ●
This unit focuses on additive facts for numbers from 5-10 (Ready to Progress 1NF–1 fluently add and subtract within 10) using the context of money.
Unit 4 ●
This unit focuses again on additive facts for numbers from 5-10 (Ready to Progress 1NF–1 fluently add and subtract within 10). This time the core resources to support learning are Cuisenaire rods.
Unit 5 ●
The unit focuses on composing 2D shapes from smaller shapes, including manipulating shapes to place them in particular orientations. (Ready to Progress G–2 Compose 2D and 3D shapes from smaller shapes ). The core resources to support learning are tangrams.
